History behind the Friendship Day
Every year first Sunday of august is celebrated as
FRIENDSHIP DAY among friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, besties, BFF or whatever
:p ! The tradition of Friendship Day started in
1935 by the US congress, they decided to dedicate one day in an honor of friends.
At that Era devastating effect of the First world war created mistrust and
hatred among the people so, the US congress declared this day to bring love and
friendship back in the world.
This became so popular that all other countries also started
celebrating this day with their friends and dear ones.
